Hello! I am Carla Ballard - a sweets addict, sucker for a love story and planner of all things at heart.

I've been in the wedding industry for so long, yet somehow, still not long enough. My adoration for planning weddings began when I was just 18 years old and planned my best friends wedding on my own, zero experience! We've come a long way since then.

I'm truly a hopeless romantic, getting to know my couples and witness their smiles throughout the planning journey brings me such joy - especially the biggest smiles of all on the big day. You can catch me tearing up every time at the groom's reaction to his bride, getting lost in the sweet father/daughter dances, and always eyeing a slice of wedding cake!

I'm not sure I could make it a single day without Reeses Cups or my husband, Brad - the sweetness runs deep! I could endlessly talk about my darling grandbabies, and if I'm not working, you can bet I'll be catching one of their ball games and spending time with my family.

I've been to 4 continents, love a good steak, am fascinated by pink flamingos (how do they stand on one leg like that?!) and for some reason am extremely pet peeved by dirty road signs (hey, can someone just give them a good wash?)
